W320 Cashew Nut - The Main Products Of Vietnam Cashew Industry

The W320 cashew nut kernel is the main product of the Vietnam cashew industry. It has been estimated that about 60 % of cashew nut is consumed in the form of snacks, mostly roasted and salted. The remaining 40 % is instead used in confectionery and bakery products, often as a substitute for peanut and almond. 

Vietnam W320 Cashews grades are the most popular among cashew kernels and the highest in terms of availability. Currently, RCN prices are ruling at $1,400-1,500 per tonne. Kernel prices for W320, the main traded grade, is hovering in the range of $2.80-3.10 FOB Vietnam

Binh Phuoc Vietnam Increases Cashew Tree Yield

  I n the southern province of Vietnam,   Binh Phuoc is known as Vietnam’s “cashew capital” , Binh Phuoc is proposing a project to develop and Increase the Cashew Cultivation Area cashew tree as the main crop. Binh Phuoc Vietnam Increases Raw Cashew Output. Binh Phuoc province  is the largest place to  grow cashew in Vietnam , about 50% of the Vietnam cashew area. 150,000 ha Cashew Tree with an output of 1,5 tons per ha. Binh Phuoc  is home to a large area of agricultural land that grows many types of trees such as  rubber, pepper, cashew…  Currently, Binh Phuoc province is making efforts to increase  the area of cashew cultivation  because the soil & climate is most suitable for  cashew trees .  Vietnam is about 290,000 hectares (2021) , and  Binh Phuoc  alone accounts for  60% of the Vietnam cashew area,  about 150,000 ha with an output of 1,5 tons per ha. And Bình Phuoc also has more than 1,400 processing facilities with a total capacity of more than 500,000 tons a year. => R

Vietnam Cashew Aiming 900m USD export to the EU in 2022

  According to the Import-Export Department under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the EU is currently the second-largest importer of Vietnamese cashew nuts, accounting for 23 % of the total volume. Vietnam Exported 135,000 tonnes Cashew In 2022 In 2021, Vietnam exported about 135,000 tonnes of cashew nuts to the EU, earning 816 million USD, up 16.5 percent in volume and 7.9 percent in value year-on-year. Vietnamese cashew nuts are available in 23 EU member markets, mainly the Netherlands and Germany. The two are currently important trading hubs for cashew nuts in the EU, because they not only import for domestic consumption but also re-export to other markets
