And Bình Phuoc also has more than 1,400 processing facilities with a total capacity of more than 500,000 tons a year.

Trying to Increases Raw Cashew Output

The Vietnam minister of agriculture urged the province to review the planning so that it can increase the yield of cashew trees by replacing low-yielding varieties. Currently, the whole province of Binh Phuoc is working hard with the goal increase the average raw cashew nuts output to 2 tons/ha to improve product value and quality. At the moment Binh Phuoc has more than 457,000 ha of farmland, including 429,800 ha of perennial industrial crops and orchards.
